Online & Memphis, TN — Headstart

Never Worked Out Before?
Perfect. Start Here.

Headstart is a 6-week, home-based program built for people who have never trained consistently — no gym, no equipment, no experience required. Just a real starting point with a coach who won't judge you for starting late.

Margot, a Fit 901 client, pulling out the waist of her old jeans to show how much looser they fit.

“It was scary for a woman my age, a woman my size. But I was determined. So I walked in. At any age, at any size, you can walk in scared and walk out strong.”

Margot, joined at 45, had never trained before

You're not too far behind.

You haven't failed. You just haven't had the right on-ramp yet. Here's exactly what changes with Headstart.

“I’m too out of shape to start.”

That’s exactly who Headstart is built for. Every workout is scaled to a true beginner from day one — there’s no minimum fitness level to start.

“I don’t know what I’m doing.”

You’re not handed a plan and left to guess. Every movement has a video demonstration, and a real coach is checking in on you — not just hoping you figure it out.

“I’ve tried before and quit.”

Most people who “failed” before didn’t fail at fitness — they failed at a plan that asked for too much, too fast. Headstart asks for small, doable wins instead.

“I don’t have any equipment.”

You don’t need any. Every workout is home-based and built around bodyweight and things you likely already have. No gym, no shopping list.

“I’m scared of being judged at a gym.”

Headstart happens at home, on your own time. No one watching, no one comparing. When you’re ready for more, you start it with six weeks of consistency already behind you.

“I don’t have much time.”

The workouts are short and built to fit into a real, busy life. This isn’t about training harder — it’s about training consistently, in the time you actually have.

What's included

Everything you need for a real first six weeks. Nothing you don't.

Home Workouts You Can Actually Do

Beginner-appropriate movements with video demonstrations for every single one — no guessing at form, no gym required.

Simple, Sustainable Nutrition Guidance

Basic, realistic guidance — not a restrictive diet. Small, sustainable changes you can actually keep up with.

Habit-Building, Not Intensity

Consistency over intensity. We track small wins and build the habit first — the hard training can come later.

A Real Coach Checking In On You

Not a generic beginner PDF you download and forget. An actual person checking your progress and keeping you on track.

Your first six weeks

A gradual, beginner-appropriate progression — not a sprint.

Week 1

Movement Fundamentals

The basics — squats, lunges, push-ups, planks. Form comes before everything else. Goal: know how to move safely.

Week 2

Add Complexity

We build on week 1 with simple variations. Focus stays on consistency, not intensity.

Week 3

Increase Duration

Workouts get slightly longer. This is where the habit really starts to take hold.

Week 4

Introduce Light Load

Optional light dumbbells or bands — still form-first, not weight-first.

Week 5

Build Confidence

A mix of everything so far. Noticeable progress — more reps, better form, more trust in your body.

Week 6

Reflection & Graduation

A final workout, a look back at how far you've come, and a real conversation about what's next.

What's next, when you're ready

Headstart is a starting point, not a finish line. There's no pressure to move on — but once you've built the habit and the confidence, here's where most people go next.

Starting at home? Good.

Headstart is built for your living room, your garage or a local park. If you ever want to train with us in person, our gym is a no-frills warehouse: concrete floors, chalk, rusty bars, big fans and friendly people who all started somewhere. By appointment, never required.

They started exactly where you are

No prior experience. No head start. Just a first step, taken.

“Yesterday I was watching the others thinking thank God I'm not having to do THAT. Today I'm laughing because I'm actually doing the thing I thought was impossible for me yesterday.”

What it costs, and why

Fit 901 is specialist coaching, one person at a time. Your training is customized to your goals, your current fitness and skill level, and where you are today, then adjusted as you go — weekly check-ins to start, easing to as-needed as your habits take hold. The work is about minimizing injury, maximizing results and building sustainable systems and habits, so your progress runs on routines we build together, not willpower. That kind of attention isn't the cheapest way to get fit, and we don't pretend to be. It's priced for what it is: a coach who knows you.

Headstart is priced as a true starting point: no equipment to buy and no gym required.
